Hi, I'm Danielle Keeton.
well and willing is more than my company.
It's my calling.
a little more about being well and willing....
Being well and willing is about getting on with it!
It's about discovering what's truly important to you and what keeps holding you back..(hint - it's you)
It's about being real, awake, aware, and fully alive.
It's about becoming a better YOU so the world can benefit from what you're bringing to the table.
It's not fluffy or extra. It's powerful and essential. Deciding that I'm well and willing has been a personal declaration for me. I want to help you declare it too.
a little about me...
I see possibilities. For as long as I can remember, I've loved exploring and imagining new ways to do things. My childhood was a chorus of "whys?" and "why nots?", questioning rules and working to make sense of the world....my patient parents, bless them.
Fast forward a few decades...
I get to use my curiosity in service to others. Coaching is a practice of holding space for others. In that space, we invite curiosity and creativity to join in. That's how we get somewhere new. Assisting someone to connect with things that really matter, and will still matter 5, 10, 20 years from now is one of my favorite things to do. I am continually filled with gratitude and honored to be deeply present with others as they grow.
I am still growing. Growth is part of being a better human. I do not pretend to have this being human thing all figured out. I am learning right along with you. I do know how to help you explore what holds you back and how to help you create where you want to be. New thinking grows new behavior. Being coached is like upgrading your brain!
I take a light-hearted approach to heavy stuff. Sometimes complicated change work can benefit from a little lightening up. Laughter (especially at yourself) lifts the spirit and offers new perspective. Getting somewhere new can be energizing if you can allow yourself to find the fun. If it can't be at least a little fun, then really, why bother.
I love local. I live in Memphis, TN. "Memphis is a beautiful, gritty place", I often tell clients who don't live here. It's a city with a heart for service and a soul for change. It's been shaped by its past, and it's building an inspired future. I like working in the grit. It's where real progress is made. I want a world with more love, compassion, and equality, and I'm willing to work for it.
I've been serving the development of others for almost twenty years. As a pediatric speech-language pathologist, an operational director in a large healthcare system, and as a coach, I've been driven to help others create new possibilities and make them reality. I find the most joy and the potential for the most lasting impact, as a coach. Over the past 5 years, I have received 190+ hours of professional coach training, the majority in Vancouver, BC with Erickson Coaching International. I have provided 600+ hours of coach-approach training and coaching for individuals and groups. I have presented at state and regional conferences on how to apply a Coach-Approach to service work. I am a member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and the International Coach Federation (ICF).
